"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the
only thing that ever does." -
    Margaret Mead

    You are Needed

Zeal, passion, and hard work -- these are the traits that define this community, and keep the congregation moving. Whether it is as light a task as attending, as formidable as giving a Drash, or as thoughtful as providing a meal that is devoured in seconds, there is always an opportunity for you to help connect to the community.

And We Are Always in Need of Some Help

What are your strengths?  What can you do to get involved?  Here are a list of suggestions:

    Are You an Excellent Cook?
Every week on Shabbat ,our kosher kitchen dedicates itself to the task of feeding its congregates and visitors.  And hey, even if you are not confident in your cooking skills, there are still things you can do to help out with around the kitchen.

    Haftorah
While the Torah reading cycle proceeds from Genesis through Deuteronomy, covering the entire Five Books of Moses, only selected passages from the Prophets make it into the Haftarah cycle. A cluster or three or four berakhot (blessings), depending on the occasion, follows the Haftarah. Their call for prophecy to be fulfilled and for    G-d to restore the Jewish people to Zion serve as a finale to the full set of the day’s scriptural readings, Torah and Haftarah together.

    Do a Drash
As no passage can be without its pashat, no reader of the law can be without their understanding of the law. Doing a Drash demonstrates how dynamic understanding Torah can be, and reveals how much more there is to learn from it. Not too many people are capable of taking up this role, so if you would like to volunteer, it would be very  much appreciated.

    Make a Donation
Donations are what keep this community financially stable to continue to grow. Learn more about donation opportunities here

    Other Volunteering
Behind the scenes, everyone is working hard to prepare events, get people in, and maintain our facilities. There is always a way to lend a helping hand. If you are interested in volunteering, we would be more than grateful.  You can contact us here
